Each year, lit from the second week of December in Gothenburg the Light trail in Gothenburg, which this year even up to 9 January is maintained. These lights road starts at the building, referred to in Gothenburg Läppstiftet (lipstick), in Lilla Bommen , and then along the Östra Hamngatan and Avenyn up to Liseberg . Total coverage by Street lights to about three kilometers.
With Lilla Bommen discover this year, a flashing Läppstiftet, with lights adorned cranes yard , festively decorated pleasure boats and of course, resplendent in purple Ferris , which, with its heated gondolas Christmas and New Year day is on.
The part between Lilla Bommen acts to Gustav Adolf Torg dark and depressing and only after one of the also little Christmas Brunnsparken is over, start to shine back streets and houses, with the multi-colored Christmas lights then to the Art Museum at the upper end of the Avenue continues.
But before you get there, you have to take a look, especially on the old theater Storan and pass under the arch with the illuminated mistletoe on Bältespännarparken . Here you can walk among colorful Christmas lights skate and listen to the live Christmas tree that is built every year.
From the Avenue of you should then go on to Näckrosdammen , where this year will change the lighting when walking past the trees. From here, then, the route, which remains a bit dark at first, until it radiates light Liseberg, which, however, on 23 December closed its doors.
