The Gustav Adolf Torg is one of the main squares of Gothenburg. He is the statue of the founder of present-day Gothenburg, and at Christmas time, even from highest Christmas tree dominates the city. It is therefore not surprising that in this central square every year, at least on the weekends in December, a Christmas market is organized.
Despite the privileged position comes when you visit the Christmas market but only a little Christmas feeling, as approved by the city stands is more like one of the common markets that the whole year in Gothenburg can. Only that the offer at Gustav Adolf Torg is lower than in other places.
Although each of itinerant traders who operate the stalls also provide a Christmas must feel and it is not prohibited gift or Christmas decoration for sale, we find mainly clothes that would fit better to a fair. Imported, printed T-shirts with hard rock icons, it seems the owners of some items to have particularly impressed.
The supply of food stalls that sell Hot Dogs, is enormous, so the only state with toasted almonds almost goes unnoticed. Even the smell of Glögg or Swedish Christmas cookies it looks at Gustav Adolf Torg in vain, and this not only because of the strict requirements of the city in terms of food sales.
Who the few rows along stalls will find it eventually but a little Christmas market, because in one state are decorating for Christmas and housing offered and at another level can be embroidered clothing find for children up to about six years ago that spread joy under the tree.
