The waves of the Atlantic two
On 2 Times we had made to carry out our holiday camp in Pissos near the Atlantic Ocean. We, the truck and the Vorkommando had made us this year a day earlier on his way. This was possible because we had held our summer festival together with the parish festival and the 30th anniversary of St. John Kita already on Jul 13, ie 14 days earlier than usual.
On Sunday morning we went. The truck was going on before us. On the way we received a call from Jacob, the truck was inspected by the police in Aachen .

No! They had just discovered that James had forgotten his driver's license.

Then we started to build the group of tents and kiosks.
late in the evening after work, we had done a lot, we drove to a " Routiers " restaurant, where truck drivers can eat cheap. We have utilized this option.
The next morning I started the organization in the grocery store and the bakery. Great for me was that the owner greeted me again at once recognized as Monsieur St. John and the baker myself as Monsieur Pizza .
So it was no problem this time also set up an account with the two transactions. The baker would give us even the bread's in the kitchen tent.

Wednesday, after James and Heinz had passed, we set up the rest.
The Thursday was the day when we the Metro in Bordeaux 1st Who made everyone. We had trouble storing everything in Skudo, but arrived safely with a well-laden car into Pissos again.
Then we made contact with the OT to hear that everything is going well and to order a few small things. Then could come the bus.
On Friday, 01.08. came the bus and 2 accompanying mini buses safely packed with children and attendants, baggage and other material Organisation in Pissos . As the bus driver drove back until late evening from Bordeaux the train home, it was after dinner, to the surprise of the first trip to Atlantic , enjoyed by all.
From the following Saturday, the program ran like clockwork. In the reports of children is something about the program the next 2 weeks told.
On Saturday, 16.08. was late at night with the truck drivers and Uwe Bernhard, and Helmut arrived the bus driver. On Sunday we took a bus tour so still for Dune de Pilat and after Biscarrosse for swimming in the Atlantic.
The departure from the direction of home began at 19.08. at 11:00 am, for my planning a little late.
drove as bus, truck, 3 mini buses and 2 cars in the direction Paris. In Chartres, 70 km from Paris , we had rented the hostel for a night. Counter 19:20, 10 minutes before the agreed late date, we arrived at the hostel.

The hostel manager and I ordered a pizza delivery pizza restaurant enough and were able to about 21:00 the hunger of all silent.
The next morning, drove the baggage on around 9:00. The route to Paris was pretty free.
The highway Paris was no problem. I was so quickly through Paris, so we were already at 10:20 am Parque Asterix , the next major goal. I got the cards quickly, the children were on the point sworn in and made the group assignment. And then off to the park, where all in a flash in the different directions distributed.
on time at 16:45, all at the meeting point. Besides the bus, we found a resting place. There we took our dinner. Then we went towards home. Again, this trip went better than I expected. Around 23:45 and met the bus AVK bus safely as the last one in Cologne Family Home from the OT.
At this point, even a sincere thanks to the company Müller, has brought us many years at our resorts, but had demanded from the company AVK to us this year not only the truck, but still a Mercedes minibus on favorable terms available.
It was another successful camp about to end. This was recognized by the reception that made the parents come to the OT, really clear. For they are all received with great applause.
